NOTICE INVITING TENDER FOR Horticulture SERVICE

Sealed tenders are invited on behalf of Dean, MAMC from Registered Private firms/Agencies having at least one Branch office in Delhi for providing Horticulture services at the Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya, Delhi 110031.
Scope and Description of Work:

Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya is a 216 bedded pediatric hospital situated at Geeta Colony, Delhi 110031 with adequate green areas. As per existing scheme/layout plan for green area, some additional / renovation of plantation work is required to be carried out along with maintenance of all green area including grass cutting, weeding, cutting & pruning of hedges/ edges/ shrubs/lawn areas, manuring, pest control, watering, supply of additional seasonal flower beds/ pots.
Tenderers are advised to inspect and examine the site and its surroundings and satisfy themselves before submitting their tenders (so as is practicable), the form and nature of the site, the means of access to the site, the land in general shall themselves obtain all necessary information as to risks contingencies and other circumstances which may influence or affect their tender.

The tenderer should have successfully completed similar nature of works and subsequent maintenance of plantation or similar nature of works for a minimum period of one year.

Prescribed tender form can be can be obtained from the Care taking branch of Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya Geeta colony Delhi 110031 from 23/08/07 to 12/09/07(10.00 A.M to 1.00 P.M) on any working day on payment of Rs 500/- only. If the tender document is downloaded from website, A demand draft of Rs.500/-(Rs five hundred only) in favour of Dean MAMC, New Delhi -110002. should be enclosed with technical bid .
Duly completed tender form along with an earnest money deposit of Rs.20,000/- in form of FDR in favour of Dean, Maulana Azad Medical College New Delhi 110002 and other required documents should be put in the tender box placed in the Care taking branch of Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya, Geeta Colony, Delhi 110031 latest by 13/09/07 upto 1.00 P.M .

The tender must be submitted in two parts:

(A) Technical Bid
(B) Price bid.

1. The two bids must be submitted in two separate sealed envelopes, clearly marked as technical bid & price bid and must be put in the single envelope marked as Tender for providing Horticulture services.

2. Pre-bid meeting will be held in the office of Medical Superintendent, Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya, on 31/08/07 at 11.00 A.M Any clarifications sought by the prospective bidder should be submitted to Purchase Section at least 3 days prior to pre-bid meeting.

3. The technical bid will be opened on 13/09/07 at 2.00 P.M in the office of the Care taking branch of this hospital by a tender opening committee constituted for this purpose in the presence of tenderers or their authorized representatives who choose to present.

4. Tenders not confirming to the essential requirements, as per check list will be rejected and no correspondence thereof shall be entertained whatsoever.

5. Price bid of only those tenderers shall be opened who are found qualified at the technical stage. Time & Date for opening of Price Bid shall be fixed and intimated to the tenderers qualifying in technical bid.

Duration of contract shall be one year from the date of issue of the rate contract extendable to one more year on mutual consent subject to satisfactory performance.

There shall be no post tender negotiations except with lowest tenderer.
Bids submitted must be unconditional and no communication will be made till the finalization.

The DEAN, Maulana Azad Medical College reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the
tenders without assigning any reason thereof.
